Aaron Peck is an art critic, teacher, writer living in Vancouver, BC. He is the author of the novel The Bewilderments of Bernard Willis and, in collaboration with artists Adam Harrison and Dominic Osterried, Letters to the Pacific. His fiction has appeared in magazines such as Matrix, The Golden Handcuffs Review, and W. His recent art criticism has appeared in 01 Magazine, akimblog, Art Papers,, Canadian Art, C Magazine and Fillip, as well as an article in La Fábrica's Spanish-language magazine Matador. He has also contributed to numerous exhibition catalogs. He currently teaches at Emily Carr University of Art and Design.

There are a few reasons why a Dead pixel on your TV could occur. Faulty power connections are the main reason for most dead pixels. Some are brought on by the transistor in the pixel failing to detect or take in the electrical voltages instructing the pixel to turn on or to display a certain colour.
