Lots happening up here these days...
Roger Farr's SURPLUS (Linebooks, 2006), a collection of sonnets and anti-sonnets documenting some of the havoc wreaked by industry, globalization, and neo-liberalism, was released in November. Roger also recently edited the "Six Cities" issue of The Capilano Review. Reviews of the issue can be read here and here.
Crystal Hurdle is busy following up After Ted & Sylvia (Ronsdale, 2003), which explored the stormy relationship between two of the 20th century's celeb poets, with a new series based on Nabokov's Lolita.
Speaking of storms, Linebooks has also just released Reg Johanson's Courage, My Love. The book brings together a number of Johanson's greatest hits written over the last decade.
Andrew Klobucar is keeping tabs on the robots: check out some of his current new media work, and keep an eye open for his upcoming issue of The Capilano Review on Language and Technology.
Ryan Knighton has recently published a memoir, Cockeyed (Penguin, 2006), about blindness and its discontents. Read more about Ryan and his work.
And finally, Anne Stone's third novel Delible (Insomniac, 2007), which deals with murdered and missing women, will be out in April. Anne is also editing an issue of West Coast Line on the same subject.
